From the airport

Genova’s Airport is located only 6 kilometers from the city centre. The terminal is linked to the centre and with the two main railway stations (Brignole and Principe) through the Volabus service. The ticket costs 6 Euros and can be purchased in the airport or on the bus. You can purchase the it online at the special price of 5 Euros, on https://www.amt.genova.it/amt/biglietti-e-abbonamenti/acquisto-online-e-via-sms/volabus/?lan=EN.

You can reach Genova and Liguria’s eastern and western coasts by train from the airport. The nearest train station is Aeroporto-Sestri Ponente and is linked to the terminal through the i24 shuttle. You can buy both the shuttle (1.5 Euros) and the train tickets at the arrivals floor in the airport.

The airport is connected to the A10 highway by the Genova Aereoporto toll booth. You can find several rent a car agencies at the arrivals floor in the airport.
