Genoa Airport pay a lot of attention to disabled and reduced mobility passengers. For these reasons we are offering the following services:
Disabled toilets
Internal and external lifts for moving between floors equipped with button in “braille”
Pavements ramps
On departure level of the air terminal is available a touch-sensitive route for visually disabled users reachable from external area and guarantees, with touch-sensitive map, an easy access to Vip lounge (Sala Genova). Check-in position available.
In the central car park, at 50 mt from the air terminal, n. 22 free of charge spacing park are reserved for disabled. Cars must display the required permit.
Embarkation
For passengers in wheelchairs an elevator platform is available to facilitate boarding. Passengers travelling on stretchers must book their seats at least three days before departure and pay a supplement. Passengers on stretchers must also be accompanied by a (paying) adult both on the ground and in the air.
Security
The security check points are equipped for both passengers in wheelchairs and wearers of pacemakers.
