lost baggage: what I have to do?

You have to go to Lost & Found office of the handler that manages baggage for the airline you travelled on, with your ticket and coupon for the missing bagage (in the vevent of partial loss, you haev to check with baggage you have not been able to reclaim).

The Lost & Found office will issue you a copy of the lost baggage claim with the reference number of your file.You have to specify the characteristics of the lost bagagge, e.g. size, colour, brand name etc.., on the claim form.

If your baggage is not found within a short time, you may contact your airline, which will aithorise you to be refunded the cost of any essential articles you need.

MY BAGGAGE IS DAMAGED

If your baggage arrives with visible damage, you can go to Lost & Found office to make a damage claim.
If baggage that has gone missing is returned to you damaged, the Lost & Found office will send a claim form in an envelope with the consignment. In any event you will be given the addressese to contact for settlement of damage.

Any straps that may have been applied to fasten the baggage are not covered by insurance.
